After a few boring sighs and general melancholy, Kipper says to Tiger “You know, nothing ever really happens. In one such episode, Tiger calls up Kipper to see if he will go jump in puddles with him. (Kipper is British.) Also, Kipper is fairly philosophical at times.

It teaches the little one about different accents, different words, and perhaps even a little culture. Just give him a real identity, please!įor what it’s worth, it does have a few benefits. Call him Chuck, or Bill, or Bob, or even Henry or Periwinkle. Why, Kipper, why do you do this to yourself? Tiger is a stuck up, no good idiot! Find better friends! And for heaven’s sake, please give Pig a name. He is every snooty and stand offish brat you ever knew, rolled up into one. Tiger is the kid I would have avoided in school, out of sheer irritation. He is constantly trying to make Kipper feel bad about himself, he thinks he is the best thing since sliced bread, and is always flashing around his new toys. Where is Arnold’s mother? Does she know that he is cavorting around with a bunch of lackadaisical children who have no idea where he is most of the time?Īlso, Tiger, a little Scottie dog, is a jerk. Even Arnold the Pig has a name.) At any rate, this young kid is left alone with these presumably older characters, but is always seemingly lost or getting away from them. (Don’t ask me why, but every other character has a name, except for Pig. Going back to the idea of Arnold, this two or three year old pig is left alone with Kipper and Tiger (both dogs) and Pig the pig. Watching this show makes me wonder what the writer was on when he/she wrote them. There was also the time that he and his friend Pig’s little brother, Arnold, fly up into the clouds, later crashing into the ground. The hat in turn begins producing floppy bunnies, which are left to wander the house.

Magic also seems to be a big theme, as he finds an old top hat that he leaves in his house. For example, he often ends up in outer space, talking to Aliens.

Kipper is a dog who mills around with his friends and gets into strange, even whimsical positions. I thought there was nothing worse than “Dora the Explorer.” I was very wrong. My kiddo is in love with the show “Kipper.”
